Enrollment
Apply to the Child Development Center
Who can apply
We provide care for children 12 months to 5 years old (by August 31 of the enrollment year) of current WWU students and employees. Limited space available for Alumni and community members. School-aged children enrolled in public or private school are not accepted.
Please note: At this time, we are at capacity for the upcoming academic year and are maintaining an active waitlist. Families are still encouraged to submit an application to be added to the waitlist, and we will reach out if space becomes available.
How it works
Year-round applications: You can submit an application at any time.
Waitlist: After you apply, we’ll contact you about availability. If there isn’t space, your child will be placed on the waitlist in the order applications are received, with priority given to students.
Full-time vs. Part-time care
We aim to keep most openings full-time (30–45 hours/week). Part-time care (2 or 3 full days per week) is available until those slots are filled. Once schedules are finalized after the add/drop period, they stay in effect for the quarter.Eligibility requirements
Child must be 12 months old by August 31 of the enrollment year.
Immunizations and a current physical exam must be up to date.
